Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti\u2019s campaign for Congress in Pennsylvania\u2019s 8th District is rolling out a wave of major new union endorsements as she continues to build a groundswell of support from labor. Cognetti earned four new endorsements in just the past week: From the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA), the United Steelworkers (USW), and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers (SMART).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Cognetti now counts 11 labor unions as endorsers of her campaign to unseat Congressman Rob Bresnahan.<\/p>\n
