ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The attorney for a former Allentown police officer accused of having sex with prostitutes says investigators influenced witness identification in the case.<\/p>\n
Jason Krasley was arrested in 2024 and charged with a slew of crimes related to his time with the vice squad.<\/p>\n
Krasley has been fighting charges he had sex with prostitutes while on the job at APD since January 2025.<\/p>\n
In a new filing, Krasley’s attorney says in at least one instance, investigators allegedly influenced the outcome.<\/p>\n
The new filing has images from recorded interviews with an accuser identified as AV.<\/p>\n
The images show the two detectives who worked the Krasley case showing the woman a lineup of men and says when the woman could not immediately identify anyone, the detectives acted in a way that influenced her to pick Krasley’s photo.<\/p>\n
Because of this alleged tainted identification process, Krasley’s attorney is asking for it to be withheld and the case involving AV be dismissed.<\/p>\n
Krasley faces two other cases involving two separate women.<\/p>\n
A judge is expected to rule on the motion in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
We reached out to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office about the filing.
