HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) has said its summer travel season is off to a record-breaking start.<\/p>\n
According to Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority, the airport experienced its best month on record this June, seeing over 105,000 passengers fly through the facility.<\/p>\n
The LNAA says this number marks the highest monthly traffic level on record for the airport, seeing a 5.12% increase from the previous June.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeyond convenience and a first-class customer experience, there are many factors contributing to this record number of passengers. Additional connections to Chicago, more seat capacity with the implementation of larger aircraft, and the ability to land in your favorite leisure destinations has made ABE an attractive option,\u201d said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).<\/p>\n
