L. MACUNGIE, Pa. – A Lower Macungie couple accused of starving and abusing their teen sons were back in court Tuesday.<\/p>\n
In Tuesday’s pre-trial hearing in the case of Joshua and Tracy Dechant, the courtroom heard from several witnesses.<\/p>\n
They included the couple’s next-door neighbor, and two hospital workers who assisted their twin boys.<\/p>\n
The teens were discovered malnourished in January of 2025.<\/p>\n
The defense has asked for a change of venue due to the amount of media coverage.<\/p>\n
The judge will take it under advisement.<\/p>\n
The next court appearance has been scheduled for November 4th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"L.
