A mother and her two children were found stabbed to death in a home in Cabell County, West Virginia, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a post on Facebook, the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office<\/a> said 39-year-old Shawn Deel, her 18-year-old daughter Abigale Sloan and 16-year-old son Dekota Sloan were killed on Tuesday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n Joshua Deel will be charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing, the Facebook post said. The 39-year-old man was taken to a local hospital from the scene with superficial wounds and will go before a judge once he is released from the hospital.<\/p>\n The sheriff’s office said that law enforcement was called to the home on Hickory Grove Road in Lesage just before 5 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of a stabbing. At the scene, Shawn Deel, Abigale Sloan, and Dekota Sloan were pronounced dead.\u00a0<\/p>\n No other information was released, including the relationship between the victims and the suspect.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n “As this is still an active investigation, no further details will be released at this time,” the Facebook post said.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Cabell County Sheriff’s Office and West Virginia State Police responded to the home on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n “We got our investigators here, and the state police is helping us,” Sheriff Doug Adams told CBS affiliate WOWK<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday morning. “EMS has been here all morning, so we’ve had plenty of support.
