She was preceded in<br \/>death by her husband Edward J Swierczewski (2015) and her sister<br \/>Barbara (Sapiego) Bucciaglia (2021).<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Dr. Barbara S Snyder, wife of Thomas<br \/>Snyder, of Marlton, NJ; her son, Dr. Mark E Swierczewski, husband of<br \/>Sharon A. Swierczewski, Lower Heidelberg Township with whom she<br \/>resided for the last 5 years; and 3 grandchildren, Tamara C Snyder, Edward<br \/>A (Eddie) Swierczewski and Christian M (CC) Swierczewski.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>She was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading, PA<br \/>where she met her future husband Edward. They were married in 1960 and<br \/>resided in Berks County their entire lives.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Kathryn, also known as \u201cKay\u201d and \u201cMom-Mom\u201d,\u00a0 was the consummate<br \/>homemaker and mother. She took pride in babysitting her 3 grandchildren.<br \/>She was a natural caregiver, and loved by all who came in contact with her.<br \/>She enjoyed sewing and cooking; her crabcake recipe along with her \u201ctop<br \/>secret\u201d cheesecake recipe were enjoyed by generations of her family and<br \/>friends.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Kay was a die-hard Duke University basketball fan (Coach K was her<br \/>favorite) and a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She loved watching all<br \/>sports on television, and was always present when her grandchildren were<br \/>participating.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations sent to the Dementia<br \/>Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901, or online at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dementiasociety.charityproud.org\/donate?_gl=1*1e02hhn*_gcl_au*MTgyOTYwODUzMC4xNzc5MDY0MjQy*_ga*MTY4NTAxNDI5NC4xNzc5MDY0MjQy*_ga_HVRHRLYQ5Q*czE3ODQ2NzQ1NTMkbzMkZzEkdDE3ODQ2NzQ1NTMkajYwJGwwJGgw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DONATE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius of<br \/>Loyola RC Church on Saturday, July 25th 2026 at 10 am.
