Jerome H. Carson (Curtis), age 66, born August 5, 1959, transitioned to his heavenly home on Monday, July 20, 2026.<\/p>\n
Jerome was a machinist and enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed helping his family and friends with their cars, homes and any project they needed. His welcoming and fun-loving personality was deeply loved by those who knew him.\u00a0 Jerome was an avid listener of funk, soul, and R&B music. He found great joy in life\u2019s simple pleasures and loved butter pecan ice-cream, baking, cooking, the San Fransico 49ers, and being outdoors. Above all he cherished his grandchildren. Spending time with them brought him immense happiness and they always knew how to make him smile. His warmth, laughter, and the love he shared with those around him will be remembered and treasured forever.<\/p>\n
Jerome was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Adline and Walter Henderson Johnson, his father Walter Carson and his brother Charles Carson.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his children Jerome Carson (Tara), Shawn Morris (Kisha), Curtis Carson, Arlisha Carson, Rashonda Kemp (Tyrick), Karrye White and his former wife Ramona. His mother Alvina Dantzler (Mark). His siblings Larry Carson (Sandra), Linda Brooks (Edward), and Wanda Carson. Twenty-six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws and friends.<\/p>\n
He is also survived by members of his biological paternal family who he was blessed to find later in life.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026, from 10 am to the time of service at 12 pm, at Greater Bethlehem Temple Church, 4103 Washington Ave, Erie, PA 16509. Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503.
