Football fans and families will have the opportunity to meet a former NFL player next month as Garry Gilliam visits the expERIEnce Children’s Museum for a special community event.<\/p>\n
The museum will host “Kickoff with Garry Gilliam” on August 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event is included with regular museum admission and will feature opportunities for visitors to meet the NFL alumnus, participate in football-themed activities and enjoy family-friendly entertainment.<\/p>\n
According to event organizers, attendees will have the chance to meet Gilliam in person, grab a sticker, receive autographs during a book-signing session and take part in football games and interactive activities. Those in attendance can enter a drawing for a free book signed by Garry.<\/p>\n
Gilliam played in the National Football League after a standout collegiate career and has since become involved in community outreach and youth engagement initiatives.<\/p>\n
The event is being presented by the expERIEnce Children’s Museum with support from Erie Insurance.<\/p>\n
Organizers encourage families to arrive early and take advantage of the museum’s exhibits while enjoying the special appearance.<\/p>\n
