But before it leaves, two performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. at the Sanctuary Theater, 1735 N. Main Ave. Tickets cost $20 and available now at scrantonfringe.org.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cUlysses of Scranton\u201d is described as a loose, loving adaptation of James Joyce\u2019s \u201cUlysses,\u201d creatively reimagined through the distinct lens of Northeast Pennsylvania. \u201cAt its center is a group of actors attempting to stage the \u201cimpossible\u201d novel\u2014only to find that as they dive deeper into the text, fiction and reality begin to blur. Characters morph, timelines collapse, and the stage becomes a liminal space where Scranton meets Dublin in surprising and poignant ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">This work was premiered as part of Scranton Fringe\u2019s 2025 Festival, then went on tour to Ballina, Ireland.
