He completed eight passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-35 comeback win on Wednesday night.

Not a bad final effort to cap a championship career.

“To honor my dad like this, it’s just amazing,” Jervis said. “He told me before the game he didn’t care if I went 10-for-10 for 400 yards or if I was 0-for-10 with interceptions; he loves me no matter what. He is the best father in the world, and I respect him so much. He deserved his award.”

Jervis thrived as the starting quarterback for Lackawanna Trail in the Delaware Wing-T scheme that is primarily a running offense. Our skills were amazing. I just needed to get the ball to the right spots.

“This game came down to playing as a team.
