BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. – Police are searching for two suspects following an armed robbery at a Northampton County Best Buy on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
According to Bethlehem Township Police, the incident occurred in the Southmont Plaza shopping center, located at 4413 Birkland Place, around nine p.m., shortly before the store closed.<\/p>\n
The two males entered the store and approached the service counter area. One of them displayed a handgun to a female employee, say police.<\/p>\n
The men proceeded to enter the service counter area and take undisclosed merchandise from the store, says law enforcement.<\/p>\n
Police said following the robbery, the people quickly fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n
No employees or customers were injured during the incident.<\/p>\n
Both people have been described by police as black males in their teens or possibly early 20’s, both approximately 5-6 feet tall, thin build, both wearing black hoodies and black pants.<\/p>\n
They were additionally both wearing blue medical masks, concealing their faces, say officials.<\/p>\n
According to police, this incident remains under investigation. Additional information may be released as it becomes available during the course of the investigation.<\/p>\n
