A fundraiser is underway after a member of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix family was severely injured during a hit-and-run while working an event.<\/p>\n
DONATE HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n Volunteer Mark Sheldon, who is a well-known member of the Pittsburgh car community, was hit during the \u201cPVGP Tune Up\u201d event on July 15 in the South Side.<\/p>\n The vehicle was not part of the event hit Sheldon after breaking through barriers protecting the event.<\/p>\n Sheldon was taken to the hospital and suffered a \u201cvery serious head injury\u201d and remains in the ICU.<\/p>\n A GoFundMe has been started by Mark\u2019s siblings to help pay for his care and hopefully long but full recovery.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can trust that Mark\u2019s siblings will ensure these funds are used wisely to get our fighter brother back on track! – we love him so much as we know many of you do too!
