The countdown is officially on for this year’s Erie Gives campaign.<\/p>\n
Thursday morning, the Erie Community Foundation announced the return of the annual Day of Giving on Tuesday, August 11.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Multicultural Community Resource Center receives grant for new program\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Organizers said this year’s bonus bucks pool has grown to more than $637,000, for an even larger share of bonus funding on top of community donations and helping cover all online fees so every dollar donated goes directly to participating nonprofits.<\/p>\n This marks the 16th annual Erie Gives campaign, which encourages the community to support local organizations through a full day of giving back.<\/p>\n \u00a0Baber Center officials cut the ribbon on new partial hospitalization building\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n “Some people don’t realize that nonprofits impact everything you do every day, from taking care of our children and our seniors, education, fire departments, sports; nonprofits touch every part of our lives and make our community a better place,” said Karen Bilowith, the president and CEO of the Erie Community Foundation.<\/p>\n Erie Gives’ website is live for review of all the different nonprofits that can be donated to next month online here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
