{"id":250920,"date":"2026-07-24T05:24:30","date_gmt":"2026-07-24T05:24:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/250920\/"},"modified":"2026-07-24T05:24:30","modified_gmt":"2026-07-24T05:24:30","slug":"ufc-330-loses-top-contender-bout-from-philadelphia-fight-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/250920\/","title":{"rendered":"UFC 330 loses top contender bout from Philadelphia fight card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Updated July 23, 2026, 4:12 p.m. ET<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">(Editor&#8217;s Note: This story has been updated to reflect new information regarding the rescheduling date.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mmajunkie.usatoday.com\/events\/ufc-330-makhachev-vs-machado-garry\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">UFC 330<\/a> has lost a contender fight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Erin Blanchfield vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius is off the Aug. 15 event at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">An injury to Blanchfield (14-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) has caused the cancellation, with the Jasudavicius (15-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC) matchup expected to be preserved and rescheduled for the UFC Fight Night event Oct. 17 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Two people with knowledge of the situation recently informed MMA Junkie of the change but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">After MMA Junkie&#8217;s initial report of the injury and cancellation, MMA reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ColeShelton91\/status\/2080361906628342139?s=20\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Cole Shelton<\/a> was first to report the new target date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The withdrawal marks the first time Blanchfield (14-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) has withdrawn from a bout in her five-plus-year UFC tenure.
