Want to participate in the upcoming TIAA Philadelphia Marathon and\/or the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon<\/a>? <\/p>\n

Well, you may have missed your shot. <\/p>\n

That’s because, organizers said, passes for The 2026 TIAA Philadelphia Marathon, the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon and all the challenges sold out as of Friday morning. <\/p>\n

It’s the fastest the passes have sold out in the 33 year history of the marathon, organizers said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is inspiring to see the excitement and appreciation for the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend grow each year,\u201d said David G. Wilson, Deputy Managing Director for General Services, City of Philadelphia in a statement. \u201cThe continued year\u2011over\u2011year growth of this event is a testament to the hard work of the City of Philadelphia team, our dedicated sponsors, partners, and volunteers who contribute to creating an unforgettable, world-class race experience. We are thrilled to be in this position and look forward to welcoming tens of thousands of runners to our historic city in this celebratory year, for a weekend filled with racing, community, and positive energy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The announcement comes after organizers made an additional 3,000 spots available<\/a> for the events, that will be held November 20 to 22, 2026, on the Ben Franklin Parkway after seeing significant demand for passes.<\/p>\n

Organizers said this year’s passes sold out “approximately four weeks earlier than last year\u2019s sell-out date and one month earlier than last year\u2019s sell-out date for the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon.”<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an honor that Philadelphia Marathon Weekend remains a top choice for runners,\u201d said Kathleen Titus, Race Director for Philadelphia Marathon Weekend in a statement. \u201cThis weekend is not only a staple for runners in the region, but has also become a coveted race weekend worldwide, drawing participants from across the globe. We cannot wait to welcome participants and spectators to experience an exceptional race weekend and immerse themselves in the history and culture of this city.\u201d<\/p>\n

Organizers expect participants from approximately 60 countries and all across America to take part in the upcoming marathon weekend. <\/p>\n

Also, organizers expect an attendance of about 40,000 participants throughout the upcoming weekend. <\/p>\n

Participants who would still like to compete in Philadelphia Marathon Weekend can sign up for the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K<\/a> or the Philadelphia Kid\u2019s Run<\/a> for children ages four to ten years old.<\/p>\n
