The victim was told to purchase a large amount of gold from a known broker in Maryland, then contact the suspects to arrange for its safe keeping.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The purchase, in excess of $200,000, was prevented by law enforcement.
