{"id":252935,"date":"2026-07-27T14:41:06","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T14:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/252935\/"},"modified":"2026-07-27T14:41:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T14:41:06","slug":"etnas-union-hotel-redevelopment-project-receives-state-racp-grant-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/252935\/","title":{"rendered":"Etna\u2019s Union Hotel redevelopment project receives state RACP grant \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Union Hotel redevelopment project in Etna was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/news\/2026\/07\/16\/state-grants-nearly-90-mil-racp.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">one of many regional projects<\/a>\u00a0in the Pittsburgh region to receive significant grant funds in recent days.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Etna-based project, led by 358 Butler LLC, received $500,000 in grant money from the Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program for the complete restoration of three existing buildings, which will be used for a mixed-use development of residential and commercial storefronts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">David Wilke, one of the developers involved in the project, said he hopes the project will bring something that is much needed for the Etna community.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cThe excitement of seeing Etna be redeveloped is the No. 1 reason that we went into the project in the first place,\u201d Wilke said. \u201cSo that\u2019s not changed. We believe Etna as a small town has a great feel and a great vibe.
