Water was flowing down the street. Repairs were slated to begin Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Businesses and local government buildings downtown closed en masse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">That included the Lackawanna County Courthouse and William J. Nealon Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, The Marketplace at Steamtown, the Gateway Building, the Brixx Building, the county government center, the county&#8217;s community corrections building and the PenFed\/Health and Human Services Building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Scranton City Hall is also closed because of the water main break, city spokesman Chris Hughes said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The break comes 11 days after another major break at the intersection of North Washington Avenue and Mulberry Street. <a data-ylk=\"slk:A
