<\/p>\nSCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE\/WYOU) \u2014 The City of Scranton is experiencing another big water main break in a month.<\/p>\n
28\/22 News is on the scene in front of Scranton’s Courthouse Square, where streets are flooding and sidewalks are buckling.<\/p>\n

Lackawanna County officials say the break in front of the Federal Courthouse is affecting the following Center City buildings:<\/p>\n
PenFed\/Health and Human Services Building<\/p>\n
The buildings are closed due to no water.<\/p>\n
The water company has isolated the break, and buildings should open back up for a portion of downtown Scranton, outside of the immediate blocks surrounding North Washington Avenue, Scranton Fire Chief Judge told 28\/22 News.<\/p>\n
Pennsylvania American Water issues a boil water advisory for customers in the following areas of Scranton:<\/p>\n

100-400 blocks of Franklin Avenue<\/p>\n
100-500 blocks of Penn Avenue<\/p>\n
500-700 blocks of Capouse Avenue<\/p>\n

100-900 blocks of North Washington Avenue<\/p>\n
100-900 blocks of Adams Avenue<\/p>\n
100-900 blocks of Jefferson Avenue<\/p>\n

Contractors are supplying water tankers at the following locations:<\/p>\n
Intersection of Biden and Wyoming streets<\/p>\n
Intersection of Linden Street and North Washington Avenue<\/p>\n
Tankers should be on-site by 2:00 p.m. Customers should bring their own containers when visiting a tanker for drinking water.<\/p>\n
The cause of the water main break is unclear at this time.<\/p>\n
