Working back from his hamstring injury, the Pirates starting first baseman got hit by a pitch in the head in his first at bat during a rehab game with Class A Bradenton. He would stay in the game, hit a home run, but now is dealing with concussion issues. <\/p>\n
Pirates manager Don Kelly said Tuesday the team is evaluating and essentially taking it day-to-day as he remains on the injured list.<\/p>\n
