READING, Pa. – First responders and road crews jumped into action during the heavy thunderstorms that occurred this afternoon, which left a trail of damage.<\/p>\n
Firefighters in Reading say they had to rescue five people from a car that got stuck in floodwater around 1:15 Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred at the Spring Street Subway.<\/p>\n
Crews on scene say one of the victims was a child who went to the hospital as a precaution. Everyone rescued is expected to be OK.<\/p>\n
