The Pittsburgh Steelers opened their 2026 training camp at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., on Wednesday, but three players will have to wait to get their work in. CBs Joey Porter Jr. and Donte Kent, as well as DB Jalen Ramsey began training camp on the PUP list and did not participate on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Kent is likely still rehabbing a torn ACL suffered at the end of last season. Ramsey tweaked his knee during OTAs and GM Omar Khan said on Tuesday<\/a> he\u2019s expected to miss a few weeks but return in time for Week 1, while Porter tweaked his back<\/a> during the team\u2019s mobility test on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Ramsey arrived midway through practice on Wednesday with no noticeable limp and without a brace, and it\u2019s good news for him and the Steelers that the injury doesn\u2019t appear to be serious.<\/p>\n Jalen Ramsey walking down to the field now. However, he was fully dressed and there\u2019s been no mention of him still needing to rehab, so it\u2019s likely the team is just being cautious with him.<\/p>\n DeShon Elliott was watching the period from 20+ yards back.
