{"id":254890,"date":"2026-07-29T19:59:22","date_gmt":"2026-07-29T19:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/254890\/"},"modified":"2026-07-29T19:59:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T19:59:22","slug":"greenlight-networks-expands-reach-in-nepa-following-loop-acquisition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/254890\/","title":{"rendered":"Greenlight Networks expands reach in NEPA following Loop acquisition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rochester, New York-based Greenlight Networks \u2014 which acquired Scranton-based Loop Internet in October \u2014 further expanded its service territory in Northeast Pennsylvania through the purchase of Reading-based FastBridge Fiber.<\/p>\n<p>The FastBridge purchase brings Greenlight\u2019s services to 65,000 additional households in areas including Hazleton, Berks County, Bloomsburg, Danville, Williamsport and Erie, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Greenlight first announced its presence in the region in April 2025, offering service in Dickson City, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Coinciding with the purchase of Loop, Greenlight established the company\u2019s first in-state operations hub in Scranton and expanded its reach into Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top and Kingston, among other areas, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Greenlight Networks officials held a ribbon cutting for the Scranton office, 104 Wyoming Ave., on July 23.<\/p>\n<p>The Loop acquisition added nearly 36,000 potential customers to Greenlight\u2019s footprint, officials said.
