Man walks into Pittsburgh hospital with multiple stab wounds; suspect arrested<\/p>\n

A man was taken into custody Wednesday night after police said one person walked into a Pittsburgh hospital after being stabbed multiple times. <\/p>\n

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said they were called to the 600 block of East North Avenue following multiple 911 calls reporting a man had been stabbed.<\/p>\n

Responding officers found evidence of a crime at the scene, though the victim was no longer present. <\/p>\n

Shortly thereafter, officers received information that a man with stab wounds had arrived at the hospital on foot. He was last reported to be in stable condition.<\/p>\n

While searching the area, a Pittsburgh Police detective located a man matching the description of the suspect at Concord Street and Madison Avenue.<\/p>\n

The man was questioned by police and later taken into custody.<\/p>\n

Officials have charged the individual with aggravated assault. He is now being held in the Allegheny County Jail. <\/p>\n
