Police have released surveillance footage in the hopes of tracking down vandals that, police say, drove through North Philly on Tuesday and smashed over a dozen windows on vehicles along the street. <\/p>\n
On Thursday morning, police shared surveillance video of this incident on social media. <\/p>\n
According to police, this footage was captured at about 4:15 a.m. in the early hours of Tuesday, July 28, 2026, after vandals smashed windows on at least 16 different vehicles along the 4800 block of North 12th Street in Philly’s Logan community. <\/p>\n
In the footage, at that time, a man can be seen leaning out the passenger side window of a black vehicle, that police said was a Honda sedan, as it stops regularly next to vehicles on the block.<\/p>\n
Officials said the vandals were captured on camera as they broke windows in every vehicle — a total of 16 of them — parked along the eastbound side of North 12th Street.<\/p>\n
After leaving the block, officials said, the vehicle was last seen headed southbound on the 5000 block of Camac Street. <\/p>\n
