{"id":255480,"date":"2026-07-30T13:28:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T13:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/255480\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T13:28:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T13:28:08","slug":"key-bensalem-road-closing-for-2-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/255480\/","title":{"rendered":"Key Bensalem Road Closing For 2 Months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 A key township road will be closed weekdays starting next month.<\/p>\n<p>The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that Aqua Pennsylvania will perform utility installation on Brownsville Road starting on Monday, Aug. 17.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-subscribe\">\n  <a class=\"article-subscribe-link\" href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/pennsylvania\/bensalem\/subscribe?utm_source=amp&amp;utm_campaign=subscribe&amp;utm_medium=mobile&amp;utm_term=subscribe_in_article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Subscribe<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:<\/p>\n<p> Monday, Aug. 17, through Friday, Oct. 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/@40.1469767,-74.9793242,18.96z?authuser=0&amp;entry=ttu&amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDcyNi4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Brownsville Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Carver Avenue and Dara Faith Drive<\/a>. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Old Street Road, Route 132 (Street Road), Route 532 (Bustleton Pike), Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike), and Bristol Road. <\/p>\n<p>Local access will be maintained. <\/p>\n<p>Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or through the detour route because backups and delays may occur. <\/p>\n<p>All scheduled activities are weather dependent.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 A key township road will be closed weekdays starting next month.
