(WCAX) &#8211; A Pennsylvania man pleaded not guilty Thursday to new federal charges stemming from an armed robbery at a Vermont quick stop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities say Maurice Nelson, 38, of Philadelphia, walked into the Williston Stewart\u2019s store in April, pointed a handgun at the clerk and threatened to \u201cblow [the clerk\u2019s] head off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Maurice Nelson\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/6YVL4XQ6G5GQDC24T57FR7ABSU.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Maurice Nelson(WCAX)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say Nelson then ran off with $369 in cash, cigarettes and lighters, stole a car in the parking lot and drove away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Shortly after, police found the car in downtown Burlington and arrested Nelson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He pleaded not guilty to the new federal charges on Thursday.
