ALLENTOWN, Pa. \u2013 Individuals seeking top-notch care and products for their pooches and other furry friends will soon have a new spot to check out in Lehigh County.<\/p>\n

Paws & Claws Boutique, offering pet grooming, supplies and food, is set to open 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at 1382 Hanover Ave. in Allentown, owner Eahab Barkil told 69 News.<\/p>\n

Customers will be able to shop a wide array of dog and cat food and treats, including premium and nutritious selections from popular brands like Fromm, Open Farm and Purina, along with accessories such as beds, toys, leashes and harnesses.<\/p>\n

There also will be cat and dog brushes, shampoo and other pet care items.<\/p>\n

The business is a family affair, with Barkil\u2019s wife, Dima, and daughter, Lara, assisting with operations.<\/p>\n

The Barkils are animal lovers, with two dogs and one cat of their own, and they\u2019re looking forward to helping other local families care for their pets.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the soft opening, we want to hear feedback from the community,\u201d Laura said. \u201cIf there are certain items that they would like, we will do our best to carry them.\u201d<\/p>\n

A variety of grooming services will include bath and brush, lion cuts, deshedding treatments, dematting treatments, teeth cleaning, nail trims and full grooms (includes bath with premium shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, thorough brush-out, breed specific or customized haircut, nail trim, ear cleaning and an optional finishing spritz of pet-safe cologne).<\/p>\n

The business’ mission is “to provide exceptional customer service, expert pet care, and a welcoming shopping experience where every customer and every pet feels valued.”<\/p>\n

“Whether you\u2019re visiting for a full grooming appointment or searching for the perfect product, we\u2019re here to offer honest advice, personalized service, and a friendly smile,” reads a message on the business’ website.<\/p>\n

Paws & Claws will operate 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.<\/p>\n
