A Swoyersville man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that took place in Wyoming Borough on Thursday afternoon, according to Wyoming Area Regional Police.<\/p>\n
The crash took place around 2 p.m., when a pickup that was pulling out of the parking lot of the McDonald\u2019s at 913 Wyoming Ave. collided with a motorcycle that had been traveling northbound,\u00a0Police Chief Michael Turner said.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist, Nicholas Rosenbaum, 35, of Swoyersville, was mortally injured and died after being rushed to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Twp., he said.<\/p>\n
Investigators were working to review surveillance footage and called in a state police accident reconstruction unit for assistance, he said.<\/p>\n
The Luzerne County District Attorney\u2019s Office was also assisting in the investigation.<\/p>\n
