Artificial intelligence infrastructure startup Hellbender Inc. has announced it is moving its headquarters from the University of Pittsburgh Applied Research Center in Harmar, to the Roundhouse at Hazelwood Green. <\/p>\n
Regional Industrial Development Corporation President Don Smith says it\u2019s an exciting move for a number of reasons:<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are a physical AI company, they\u2019re manufacturing prototypes and parts, contract manufacturing things for robotics and for AI companies, so it\u2019s really important that that sector, which is such a big part of Pittsburgh\u2019s future, is growing,\u201d said Smith.<\/p>\n
And he says the company estimates the move will create more than 500 local jobs over the next five years.<\/p>\n
