{"id":257665,"date":"2026-08-02T12:16:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-02T12:16:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/257665\/"},"modified":"2026-08-02T12:16:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-02T12:16:18","slug":"severe-weather-forces-postponement-of-erie-countys-america-250-waterfront-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/257665\/","title":{"rendered":"Severe weather forces postponement of Erie County\u2019s America 250 waterfront celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(WBEN) &#8211; Erie County has postponed its \u201c716 Celebrates: Stars, Stripes &amp; Signers\u201d event, originally scheduled for Sunday on Buffalo\u2019s waterfront, because of a severe weather forecast that includes thunderstorms and the potential for flash flooding.<\/p>\n<p>The free community event, part of the local commemoration of America\u2019s 250th anniversary, will be rescheduled for Labor Day weekend.
