BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – TV, cable, and internet service has been restored on Tuesday morning following a widespread outage that has been affecting customers for over a week.<\/p>\n
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, service has been reinstated for the vast majority of affected customers, according to the company.<\/p>\n
Service Electric Cablevision shared a statement on its website, citing the cause of the outage as a network and database issue.<\/p>\n
The company additionally shared information on how to restart equipment if customers are still without internet.<\/p>\n
“If you are still experiencing an interruption, please power cycle your equipment by unplugging it for approximately 30 seconds and then reconnecting it,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n
Service Electric Cablevision sincerely apologized to all of its customers who were affected, urging customers to contact them if they remain without service.<\/p>\n
