The 32-year-old started three games and appeared in all 17 as a rotational safety and special teamer for the Cleveland Browns last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The Steelers worked out both Jenkins and veteran safety Jordan Whitehead during the first week of training camp, signaling the team had interest in bolstering its depth chart at the position.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Although a former first-round pick in 2019, Savage recorded only one start in 2025, spending stints with three different teams.
