{"id":258105,"date":"2026-08-03T04:49:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T04:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/258105\/"},"modified":"2026-08-03T04:49:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T04:49:09","slug":"woman-falls-about-20-feet-through-outdoor-staircase-in-pittsburghs-south-side-slopes-officials-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/258105\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman falls about 20 feet through outdoor staircase in Pittsburgh\u2019s South Side Slopes, officials say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A woman had to be rescued after falling through an outdoor staircase Sunday in Pittsburgh\u2019s South Side Slopes neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, first responders were called to the 3500 block of Mission Street around 6 p.m. for reports of a partially collapsed outdoor staircase.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Crews found that the woman had fallen about 20-25 feet to the ground below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Medics used a rope system to bring the woman back up.
