Over the past year, the commonwealth announced nine projects to build or expand production facilities across the region, with most concentrated in Lehigh and Philadelphia counties.<\/p>\n

However, the region\u2019s strength in life sciences dominates<\/a>, with over half of the projects coming from companies tied to the sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n The established biotech ecosystem is also attracting new investment from pharmaceutical giants Eli Lilly<\/a> and Johnson & Johnson<\/a>, which are expanding their footprints here. Plus, companies that are already here like drug manufacturer Apozeal Pharmaceuticals and medical device maker B.
