BETHLEHEM, Pa. — For Melissa and Joe Erdman, it is their first Musikfest.<\/p>\n

“We didn’t know anything about Musikfest. It’s been really cool,” said Joe Erdman.<\/p>\n

When the Connecticut couple saw Third Eye Blind was coming, they immediately jumped at tickets. The two have traveled all over the U.S. and even to London to see the band.<\/p>\n

“They encourage you to meet other people in the crowd and just say hello and they just have great vibes,” said Erdman.<\/p>\n

It is also the first for synth-based band St. Lucia.<\/p>\n

“It’s cool and everybody’s been so nice,” said Patti Beranek, who performs with St. Lucia.<\/p>\n

The husband and wife duo opened up for Third Eye Blind.<\/p>\n

“I’ve actually never seen them live before, so I’m pumped to see some of their set,” said Jean-Philip Grobler.<\/p>\n

Musikfest is one of many stops they are making around the country.<\/p>\n

“I love connecting with people and just feeling their energy and giving something back and taking, that exchange is a beautiful and energizing experience,” said Beranek.<\/p>\n

“I hope we gain some new fans, make people smile and dance,” said Beranek.<\/p>\n

A performance in front of festers like the Erdman’s.<\/p>\n

“The city has been very welcoming. Just the vibe around is awesome,” said Erdman.<\/p>\n
