Pittsburgh police investigate attempted abduction of 15-year-old at gas station<\/p>\n

Authorities are investigating after someone allegedly tried to snatch a 15-year-old from the back of a car on Pittsburgh’s North Side. <\/p>\n

Pittsburgh Police were called to a Sunoco gas station on the 300 block of Cedar Avenue around 12:15 a.m. following reports of an attempted abduction.<\/p>\n

A man told authorities his 15-year-old daughter was in the backseat of their car while he was inside the convenience store.<\/p>\n

The father said an unknown man opened the back door of the car and tried to grab his daughter. <\/p>\n

The 15-year-old’s leg was scratched in the incident but was otherwise unharmed.<\/p>\n

Officials say they searched the area but were unable to find a suspect.<\/p>\n
