Point State Park fountain temporarily out of service for algal bloom cleaning<\/p>\n

The fountain at Point State Park will be temporarily out of service for roughly two weeks, officials said in a post on Monday. <\/p>\n

In a post on Facebook, officials said the fountain will be temporarily out of operation to complete a thorough cleaning following an algal bloom. <\/p>\n

The process is expected to take two weeks and will require the fountain to be drained and power washed. <\/p>\n

“This maintenance is necessary to restore the fountain and support its continued operation. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience,” the post said. <\/p>\n

An update will be given<\/a> when the fountain is back in operation.<\/p>\n
