Pennsylvania, federal officials to announce ‘major healthcare fraud takedown’<\/p>\n
PHILADELPHIA \u2014<\/p>\n
Federal and Pennsylvania officials will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. today to announce what authorities describe as a significant healthcare fraud takedown and a district wide anti-fraud initiative.<\/p>\n

U.S. Attorney David Metcalf of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania will be joined by Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday; and Colin McDonald, assistant attorney general with the Justice Department\u2019s National Fraud Enforcement Division.<\/p>\n
Other scheduled speakers include Scott Brady, executive director of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud; Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General T. March Bell; FBI Philadelphia Special Agent in Charge Wayne Jacobs; and representatives from the HHS Office of Inspector General, Drug Enforcement Administration and IRS Criminal Investigation.<\/p>\n
