File photo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The Pennsylvania State Police are seeking a driver who fled a traffic stop on I-295 last week in the area. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A trooper attempted to pull over a Honda Accord that was traveling westbound on I-295 in Middletown Township at 12:27 p.m. last Thursday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The vehicle refused to stop, sparking a pursuit on the busy highway. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Troopers said they noticed the Honda was displaying a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDue to safety concerns, the pursuit was terminated,\u201d state police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">No charges have been filed in connection with the chase as of yet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The incident is part of a series of recent fleeing-and-eluding cases handled by state police in the area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/levittownnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_5797.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"409\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209924 lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/xIMG_5797-580x409.jpg.pagespeed.ic.m45exLGFNF.jpg\"  data- data-eio-rwidth=\"580\" data-eio-rheight=\"409\"\/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"409\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/xIMG_5797-580x409.jpg.pagespeed.ic.m45exLGFNF.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209924 lazy\"  data- data-eio=\"l\"\/><\/a>File photo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In a press release on Monday, troopers said they are filing fleeing and eluding police charges against a 22-year-old Yardley man after a chase in late June on northbound I-95 in Bensalem Township.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A 19-year-old Philadelphia man will be facing charges after fleeing troopers in a 2009 Lexus ES250 on the afternoon of July 22 in Lower Bucks County.
