WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. &#8211; A man who was in a motorcycle crash last week in Allentown has died.<\/p>\n<p>Jose A. Cardona, 26, of South Whitehall Township, was pronounced dead Monday afternoon at a local hospital, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Buglio said the crash happened Friday around 8:20 p.m. in the area of North Bradford Street and East Allen Street.<\/p>\n<p>Cardona was driving a motorcycle that lost control and crashed, causing him to hit his head on the ground, Buglio said.<\/p>\n<p>Buglio said Cardona was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n<p>The Lehigh County Coroner\u2019s Office &amp; Forensic Center and the Allentown Police Department are investigating the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Buglio said the cause of death is blunt force trauma to the head, and the manner of death was ruled an accident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of the Lehigh County Coroner&#8217;s Office &amp; Forensic Center, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Cardona,\u201d Buglio said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur thoughts are with all those affected by this tragic loss during this incredibly difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"S.
