{"id":259637,"date":"2026-08-05T12:54:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T12:54:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/259637\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T12:54:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T12:54:12","slug":"arrest-warrant-man-hits-cruiser-at-allegheny-county-mcdonalds-leads-police-on-chase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/259637\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest warrant: Man hits cruiser at Allegheny County McDonald&#8217;s, leads police on chase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police search for man who crashed into police cruiser, led officers on chase in Allegheny County<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/4a0a8774-983a-4c94-a3b0-d2630c50cec6_1653489233.file.png\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" alt=\"Raquel Ciampi\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"0\">An arrest warrant has been issued after police say a man crashed into a cruiser at a McDonald&#8217;s in Bellevue then led officers on a chase.<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"1\">A man is accused of crashing into a police cruiser at a McDonald&#8217;s in Bellevue on July 5 and leading officers on a chase, according to court documents.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"2\">On July 5, McDonald&#8217;s employees called 911 for a man who came through the drive-thru line three separate times and kept passing out. <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"3\">When police arrived, they said Caidyn Smith smelled like marijuana and refused to provide his name.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"4\">Police said Smith then put his vehicle in reverse, nearly hitting an officer, and hit the cruiser.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"5\">Investigators said Smith then led officers on a chase down Ohio River Boulevard into Pittsburgh.
