Abdi is facing several charges ranging from aggravated assault by vehicle to reckless driving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a data-ylk=\"slk:4 charged with neglect over Warren Co. home care resident death;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yourerie.com\/news\/local-news\/4-charged-with-neglect-over-warren-co-home-care-resident-death\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" class=\"promo-link__link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a04 charged with neglect over Warren Co. home care resident death\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The incident happened when Erie police saw Koiwu in the passenger seat of a car as it drove by. According to the affidavit, Koiwu had an active arrest warrant for simple assault.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">When police conducted a traffic stop, Abdi, who was driving the car, sped away, reaching speeds of 95 miles per hour within a 25-mile-per-hour zone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The chase ended when Abdi crashed into a passing motorist near the intersection of East 18th Street and Downing Avenue.
