{"id":260749,"date":"2026-08-07T02:38:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T02:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/260749\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T02:38:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T02:38:08","slug":"st-lukes-unveils-252m-heart-hospital-in-bethlehem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/260749\/","title":{"rendered":"St. Luke\u2019s unveils $252M Heart Hospital in Bethlehem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network has unveiled the new $252 million <a href=\"https:\/\/lvb.com\/tag\/heart-hospital\/\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag \" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" title=\"Posts tagged with Heart Hospital\" target=\"_blank\">Heart Hospital<\/a> on its <a href=\"https:\/\/lvb.com\/tag\/anderson-campus\/\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag \" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" title=\"Posts tagged with Anderson Campus\" target=\"_blank\">Anderson Campus<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/lvb.com\/tag\/bethlehem\/\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag \" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" title=\"Posts tagged with bethlehem\" target=\"_blank\">Bethlehem<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>The hospital, which St. Luke\u2019s said is its largest construction project in its more than 150-year history, will open in October.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>The five-story,\u00a0355,000-square-foot\u00a0facility,\u00a0is\u00a0integrated into St. Luke\u2019s Anderson Campus\u00a0with a\u00a0central corridor on each of the upper floors\u00a0that\u00a0stretches 330 feet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Construction began\u00a0on\u00a0the Heart Hospital\u00a0in 2024.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>The new facility\u00a0is expected to\u00a0provide patients with convenient access to the full spectrum of St.\u00a0Luke\u2019s cardiovascular\u00a0services, including four dedicated heart operating rooms, one hybrid operating room, ten advanced interventional suites for <a href=\"https:\/\/lvb.com\/tag\/cardiac-catheterization\/\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag \" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" title=\"Posts tagged with cardiac catheterization\" target=\"_blank\">cardiac catheterization<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lvb.com\/tag\/electrophysiology\/\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag \" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" title=\"Posts tagged with electrophysiology\" target=\"_blank\">electrophysiology<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/lvb.com\/tag\/interventional-radiology\/\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag \" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" title=\"Posts tagged with interventional radiology\" target=\"_blank\">interventional radiology<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Heart Hospital\u00a0was designed to\u00a0further St. Luke\u2019s educational mission through expanded teaching space and a new cardiac fellowship program.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It also incorporates\u00a0numerous\u00a0design innovations intended to improve efficiency and enhance patient experience.
