Batting towards the bottom third of the Phillies’ lineup<\/a>, the veteran infielder has gotten fewer opportunities over time. However, he has made the most of his chances, building a strong resume over the past two months.<\/p>\n Of course, Stott’s defense has been outstanding as always. The recent transition to third base will likely not disrupt this trend either. That is an elite clip. Stott has driven in 44 RBIs in those same situations.<\/p>\n He has also done his best work with two outs in an inning. With nobody out, Stott is hitting .216. With one out, he is hitting .264. However, with two men down, Stott is slashing .294 with an .845 OPS. He rises when pressure mounts.<\/p>\n On Wednesday night, Stott swiped his 20th bag of the year. He has now stolen 20 or more bases in each of the last four seasons. He is on pace to finish the 2026 campaign with 28.<\/p>\n
