(WOLF) \u2014 For more than 95 years, <a href=\"https:\/\/qikjoe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Milazzo Industries Inc.<\/a> has supplied snow and ice management products across the Wyoming Valley and beyond. <\/p>\n<p>Friday,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedime.bank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> The Dime Bank<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nepabfc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NEPA Alliance BFC <\/a>announced a refinancing package for Milazzo Industries designed to lower monthly costs, provide long-term financial stability, and strengthen its operations. <\/p>\n<p>Despite challenges over the years, including a flood and a devastating fire, the family-owned business has continued to grow. Hunter Wesolowski reflected on the company&#8217;s history and resilience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFive generations ago, they started off doing horse and buggy, kind of, I guess the modern day of Uber Eats. They would deliver groceries and then from there they grew to a retail hardware store down in Pittston, Pennsylvania. From there kind of grew into charcoal. And then unfortunately, we lost that in a flood. It really hit us very, very hard. We had a fire also that was very devastating, but through different growth, through different generations, it into how do we make that switch from a seasonal product into carrying out for the rest of the year. And that&#8217;s how we kind of introduced the ice melt product,\u201d said Hunter Wesolowski.<\/p>\n<p>Milazzo Industries President John Wesolowski said the funding will support the company&#8217;s growth in various ways.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt provides the foundation to expand our manufacturing capabilities, reach new customers, and create additional jobs here in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Throughout the rebuilding process, our focus has been to find new opportunities that align with our manufacturing capabilities and support a meaningful, long-term expansion.
