An investigation is underway after a man was shot to death on Friday evening, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. <\/p>\n
Officers were called to the 4300 block of North 7th Street in the Hunting Park section of North Philadelphia around 6:25 p.m., police said. <\/p>\n
When officers got to the scene, they said they found a man who had been shot one time in the chest. <\/p>\n
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries, according to police. <\/p>\n
No arrests have been made in connection to this shooting and officials have not revealed what led up to it. <\/p>\n
