Traffic stalled along Parkway East for hours after vehicle catches fire<\/p>\n

\"CaitlynALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. \u2014<\/p>\n

Traffic was stalled along part of the Parkway East Friday night after a vehicle caught fire.<\/p>\n

PennDOT cameras showed large amounts of smoke billowing from a vehicle along I-376 East near the Greensburg Pike exit. (View photo below) <\/p>\n

Officials said due to the fire, eastbound I-376 Parkway East is closed to traffic between the Greensburg Pike (Exit 79A) and the Churchill (Exit 79B) interchanges. Drivers should use alternate routes.<\/p>\n

As of 11 p.m., however, officials confirmed that all lanes had reopened. <\/p>\n

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. <\/p>\n
