\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
William P. Adam, 90, of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026.<\/p>\n
Born on November 15, 1935, William was the beloved husband of Marie (Marbarger) Adam,<\/p>\n
with whom he shared 64 very happy years of marriage. He was a wonderful husband who loved<\/p>\n
and cherished his wife and family throughout their life together.<\/p>\n
William was the son of the late Paul R. Adam and Ella M. (Bissey) Adam. He was preceded in<\/p>\n
death by his sisters, Anna Hoover and Claire Zuchowski. He is survived by his sister, Nancy<\/p>\n
Henn, wife of Robert Henn, and is also survived and lovingly remembered by a host of nieces,<\/p>\n
nephews, and extended family.<\/p>\n
William proudly served for six years in the Air National Guard with the 168th CAM Squadron.<\/p>\n
Following his military service, he worked as a mechanic at Tray-Pak, where he remained until<\/p>\n
his retirement in 1997. Retirement did not keep William from doing what he loved. He went on<\/p>\n
to work a couple of days a week at Luppold Hardware, where he was well-loved by the<\/p>\n
customers. William loved talking to people and truly enjoyed his work and the friendships he<\/p>\n
made there.<\/p>\n
A lifelong car enthusiast, William was a former president of the Bandit Car Club in Laureldale,<\/p>\n
PA. He loved his cars and enjoyed all of his \u201ctoys,\u201d including cars, motorcycles, and<\/p>\n
snowmobiles. There was very little William could not fix. He was incredibly handy and could<\/p>\n
always be counted on to figure out how to make something work.<\/p>\n
William also loved camping and traveling with Marie in their travel trailer. Some of their<\/p>\n
favorite adventures were trips to Nova Scotia and Key West. Above all, William enjoyed<\/p>\n
spending time with people, sharing stories, working with his hands, and making the most of life<\/p>\n
with the people he loved.<\/p>\n
William will be deeply missed by his wife, family, friends, former co-workers, and the many<\/p>\n
people whose lives he touched throughout his 90 years.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral<\/p>\n
Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed<\/p>\n
by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville<\/p>\n
