As the Eagles continue training camp preparations for the 2026 season<\/a>, Mannion confirmed the quarterback sneak package will remain part of Philadelphia’s offensive identity despite the transition to a new play-caller.<\/p>\n

ESPN’s Tim McManus reported Mannion’s comments Saturday on X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

The confirmation provides continuity for one of the NFL’s most recognizable and successful short-yardage plays. The Tush Push has been a staple of Philadelphia’s offense in recent seasons, helping the team consistently convert third-and-short and fourth-and-short situations behind quarterback Jalen Hurts and one of the league’s top offensive lines.<\/p>\n

Mannion was hired as the Eagles’ offensive coordinator earlier this offseason<\/a> after the organization parted ways with Kevin Patullo following Philadelphia’s disappointing NFC Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers<\/a>.
